Worm Wanderer is a pixel-art action-RPG built on the classic snake formula. You play as Raindrop, a tiny worm who sets out to bring back the stolen Golden Apple, the heart of the land. Eat apples to grow, fight monsters with your head, open chests for gear, level up your hero and take on huge bosses, alone or with a friend on the same keyboard.

Game modes

• Story: 3 chapters (Whispering Grove, Rotten Bogs, Ember Cave), each with its own boss and reward
• Easy Story: rewards ×0.5, stronger hero, more health per level, extra healing
• Survival: endless 40-second waves, with a day/night cycle and a group of bosses every 5th wave
• 2-player co-op on one keyboard

Combat and abilities

• Enemies with different behaviors: slimes, bats, spitters, ghosts and golems
• Hit enemies head-on, but watch your sides: a side hit hurts your head
• Three abilities: Dash (free), Blast (destroys rocks and trees) and Shield
• Mana for abilities and Holy Water to restore it

RPG progression

• Experience, levels and skill points (Power, Mana, Chests)
• Loot from chests: weapons, armor and charms in 4 rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
• Merge 3 identical items into one of the next rarity
• Rocks and trees appear across the field as obstacles

Shop and customization

• 22 worm skins, including animated ones (Rainbow, Blazing, Aurora, Void)
• 14 map skins, plus a default that follows the chapter
• Earn points from runs and bosses; some skins unlock only after story chapters

• Full key rebinding
• Sound and music toggles, fullscreen mode, pause
• Touch controls (swipe and tap) for mobile
• Full English and Russian interface with a language switch
• Progress, skins and settings are saved automatically
• Runs as a native Windows app (Tauri) with a small installer, no browser needed
